In 1998 I became frustrated with my guitar tone so I bought this Les Paul in very used condition. It became my main guitar from 1998 through 2001. It was prominently featured on the Half Life album Imprinting in 2000.
This Paul was made back when they made Les Pauls extra heavy - like 10-11 lbs. It's body and neck are Mahogany and the fret board, of course, is Ebony. The carved Maple top is thick.
This guitar is basically retired at this point. It has been heavily played and needs a refret, new nut, new tuners and bridge replacement. The finish is checked everywhere and the headstock broke off and had been repaired. Paint has been worn down to the wood on portions of the neck and back. I have so many guitars that are better than this one that it just doesn't make any sense to repair this baby.
